I don't believe you, where is the phone pic? Of the June bugs? Kidding of the water is it see the bottom clear?

I can appreciate that clarity. We snorkeled yesterday in Hana bay and I always wish I had the boat over here for the anchorage...but running across shallow reefs and that open ocean water is too big for my boat I fear, at least most of the time. But Panama City area had so much to offer, I would love to see that too one day...

Selling point to wife: The love bugs embarrass easy and will leave if the see that behavior out of other species.:winkingthumbsup"

My Wife had to do some work today, so we are planning on tomorrow...
Dang love bugs need to get a room!

Haven't seen and love bugs down this far.....yet! Can't wait to scrape them off my cars every night.

There you go...added the pic that I couldn't add from my cell phone.

It was really damn clear all the way down. Could see it was a smooth sandy bottom and saw some "bottom life"

Then we decided to shoot over to Apalachicola ..BAD IDEA...We made it 40 miles, 10 to go and it started getting rough. Turned around and headed back....It got rough as crap, got beat up. Then we could see the lightning storm coming in and had to try and beat it... Good 2'+ chop and we were making about 35mph...Yeah ouch! Got rain the last 15 minutes to the slip so we did ok.

Brown chicken brown cow...

Never heard of a love bug, must be a "southern" bug?

They look just like Fire Flys but don't glow. They fly through the air stuck together like they are having intercourse. Millions and millions of them.....it makes highway travel quite messy!

Or Pam cooking spray. If you're going on a highway trip, a quick mist of PAM and they will rinse right off when you get back.
