Ooops Bilmon. I had that reversed. I'm up here with you thinking of turning on the furnace. We got inundated with the stuff that California and Texas need. We need some of that heat.

I'm actually pulling ours out of the water Saturday morning. I'm not really looking forward to scrubbing a 6" layer of crap off the hull in 71 degree temps. Dang I might even have to wear pants!

I think we are going to be in for a tough winter....

I hate this, just seems like this summer was shorter than normal. We were hoping for at least one more semi-warm weekend with no rain. Many more nights of 50* weather and the lake temp will drop quickly.

Today at noon in the Milwaukee area it was 45. Wind chill factor (yes, wind chill factor) was 39.
Fired up our furnace a couple hours ago. :(

It could be worse, I suppose. 7+ inches of snow in Black Hills area of South Dakota today.

:headphone: I'm really trying to remain blissfully ignorant to all this talk about the colder weather, but based on the fact that I had to grab a sweatshirt to wear to work tonight. It's not working! :arghh:

Ahhhhh...screw it I am going surfing this weekend!!!

...Milwaukee? :D:rolleyes:

I drove about 6 hours out of the way to see Mt Rushmore in July 1995.

We were there for about 30 mins.

Imagine seeing that majestic carving in all it's glory...right up to the faces' chins.
A persistent, heavy low overcast hid the rest of the faces.:p

Here is to the end of my summer and start of fall! Cheers. Fall cruise on Sunday. image.jpg

I feel sorry for you Northern guys. Don't move to Florida...... Too many bugs and too hot. And don't forget all of the hurricanes.

What? I wouldn't just say that to keep it less populated here! Never!
