I have had a PP for at least 7 years, but never tried it in RPM mode with only one engine and a flyboard. I will have to say, it was....well, perfect! Set the RPM to 8700 for my 16 year old and took to flight and PP took over and kept him between 8700 and 8730, better than I could do on any day!

Wow I saw one last year running off a jet ski I told my wife I could do it with our boat . That looks like so much fun.

You definitely could do if off your boat. We go from boat mode to flyboard in about 60 seconds.

Looking to do this, what flyboard setup do you have?

That's awesome...I thought PP only reacted on GPS speed. Didn't know it had a static RPM mode.

@cybuch - really out of curiosity since if I tried this I'd probably end up in traction or worse but yeah, how do you attach this? What happens to the reverse gate?

@cybuch Got a question...I've got small feet (womens size 6). I heard that doesn't work with flyboard...is that right?? I'd love to try that one day.

@dirksgoat we are running the 2014 flyboard with the Yamaha quick connect.

@Big Shasta the PP definitely has RPM setting as well, works awesome!

@msavold I use the quick connect from ZR that I modifies to fit the reverse gate. Then when it's fly time, I just remove the two cables (quick connects) and install the upipe and fly. I do it while on the water, takes about 2 minutes.

@bobbie No problem with size 6 in women's. We fly kids all the time with smaller feet.
