For those of you polishing / waxing with a dual action or orbital, have you had any issues with the decals on the side of the boat? There's no shortage of decals on the new boats and it'd be a chore to have to wax / polish these areas by hand. Any experience or suggestions? Go right over them, avoid them?

Just finished a mid season cleanup on mine yesterday. I use a porter cable 7424XP and go right over the decals. Have never had a problem. IMG_1035.JPG

There are two things to watch when polishing on or around the decals:
1- don't polish the decals with an aggressive cutting pad.

2- don't polish the decals with an aggressive cutting compound.

Polish away just watch your pad and compound type.
