Hi all,
I was about to send this unit back to ASA for warranty repair and I realized, I have no idea how to take it off. Please help me out lol!

You have to remove the cupholder and reach for it. It uses a bracket with 2 small nuts holding it. If you get them loose enough you can get it to shift sideways enough to get it out
 
Thanks. Got it. Had my kid reach in and do the nuts. I could not get my hand there! I am not looking towards reinstalling it in the same spot! What’s the best way to close up this hole? I would reinstall control unit somewhere else, away from water.

What size are the nuts? Im attempting this now..
 
Small. It's been a while since I removed mine, but I think they are 6mm. You'll need a deep socket too.
 
I found old bracket. It’s 7mm.

I relocated my unit next up next to the back rest and installed another table mount in that hole.
