Pre-1994 3.6 gallon toilets....any value?

As there is alot of general knowledge on this board, I am wondering. I am taking four pre-1994 manufactured toilets with the 3.6 gallon flush (not manufactured anymore I believe or not readily available) out of my house. All fully functional. I am replacing them with some golf ball eating toilets. Is there a market for the old style toilets I am taking out of my house? I remember back in the late 90s when I was finishing out my basement, I had to have a friend in the hotel industry buy me a 3.6 gallon crapper from Canada...claiming of course it was for his hotel. At the time, the low flush toilets simply didn't work like the ones made currently. Rather than junk 4 good toilets, I am wondering if there is a market for my old ones. Anyone? Thanks.

I checked my local craigslist and found ads for used toilets ranging from $20 to $300. Most modern toilets were under $50 whereas the "vintage" (50s thru 70s) were over $100.

From a personal perspective and as a CA (drought state) resident I wouldn't be interested in a used toilet especially one that used so much water per flush but was surprised to see so many ads for them. If I was in the same position as you I would try and give them away to avoid having to dispose of them myself or the hassle of trying to sell them in my spare time.

If on a septic tank I'd use the 3.6. The low water usage toilets don't move enough water and stuff lays in the pipe. Then it solidifies some and the next flush stacks up. Etc etc.

Interesting. Maybe there is a market for these perhaps....I hate to just recycle or dump then when I might grab a few hundred bucks for them...pays for some gas.
