So, you are so occupied fishing you let your 7 year old kid in the water without a life jacket, in a river with a strong current. You don't know the river has a strong current? People drown every year like that. Just jump in the water without a life jacket to cool off and the wind or current is so strong it is moving the boat away from them at 15 MPH. I just don't understand what people think. He was very, very luck they didn't all die.

I watched the interview. The father told the boy to swim to shore. The dad then got tired and let the girl drift away from him.(?) The kids weren’t on the boat to begin with. They were playing in the water behind the boat while the dad fished. WOW!
