I'm curious what the Quaker Penn Park ramp is like. Is it a better option than Neshaminy in terms of crowds/cost/parking/etc? I was told the ramp at Neshaminy is a problem at low tide. Is that also true at Quaker Penn Park?
I only tried Neshaminy once. It was in April so there were no crowds but my day was immediately cut short by debris clogging my impeller. A thumb sized branch wedged in so tight I had to buy an extra long screw driver and needle nose to get it out. Total disaster of a day.
But I'm looking to try the Delaware River again and want to do it right.

Back when we first got our 190 we had a season pass for the Neshaminy ramp. Now we just pay as we go. In the middle or fairly middle either side of the channel as you leave and get into the river, while there can be debris at low tide, I've never seen less than 3.5 feet of water and its usually in the 4-5' range. No get further outside and its a bit more shallow but generally there is enough room for 2 boats to pass by (1 each way) without issue on most days. Now, I've been up past quaker penn and I know its narrower 2-3 launch lanes compared to the 6 ish that is at Neshaminy. Generally, if my boat picks up debris its either at the point near Burlington island either going towards Bristol or curtains wharf or down in Philly beyond the Tacony bridge.
