Doing a bathroom remodel on a 110 year old house. Took it down to the studs and rafters. Found this little surprise in one of the walls. It had it all, knob and tube, live wires, asbestos, live gas pipe for gas lights 100 years ago 1142A8C9-EF89-4FFE-856D-51F662F4BDE9.jpegC009B240-343C-48A8-AD64-B769635B00F2.jpeg9D350FED-B34C-4109-8211-7372330E4AF3.jpeg13B2C9C1-2E8F-4C7F-8782-FDAA13D0BE89.jpegand aluminum wire.

Never know what you'll find in those old houses. Also you never know how many Sawzall blades you'll use up trying to cut through the rock hard studs.

I just had a flashback.
Our first house was 85 years old and I totally gutted it and found all kinds of stuff like this.

Cool, I have never seen a knob and tube panel.
Looks like you have a big job ahead of you @Jimmers
