I it easy/possible to remove and replace the Bimini top on a 2015-18 242LS while on the water? Sorry if this is a ridiculous question.

The non E series Bimini is easily deployed or folded while on the water - we do it frequently as we need to fold it up to get under a low RR bridge. The complete assembly can also be removed easily - which we do when towing long distance.

Thanks - the E series is a total no-go? I'll look at this but I am thinking you can't fold that one up....

The E series has a rigid frame Bimini - it can be lowered for storage but not folded out of the way while on the water and in use.
It also has solar panels and provides more shade but if you need it out of the way while using the boat it won’t work.
We couldn’t go with the E series because of that as we have a low bridge that splits our lake in half
