We had some work done on our boat lift last week that resulted in us damaging the tow point tower navigation light on our 2014 Scarab HO Impulse.
To make a long story short (no pun intended), the lift guy ended up lowering the clearance of our canopy when he did the work. We backed the boat off the lift unknowingly, and the tower light went "crack"….
The tow point itself is fine, only the LED light attachment on top needs to be replaced.
So this leads to my question. Does anyone know where I can purchase the replacement light for the tower? I have done some searching online and found a replacement tower, but even that didnt show the tow point light on it….
I have an email into the boat dealer where I bought the boat, but they are in no rush getting back to me. I want to fix the light myself because it just requires backing off some allen head screws and popping the new one on. No sense in trailering the boat and towing in for service, when I can DIY it in 10 minutes while it is on the lift.
It seems like the boat dealer would only be interested in providing the quote if I want them to also do the install…or at least that is the impression I am getting.
Thanks for any help or guidance you can offer.
