Rockville Amp

So has anybody used this amp, or do you guys think it's a piece of shit. For the price, it looks great. I'm not trying to drowned out anybody just add a little more sound. Plan on adding this with 2 tower speakers. Either Polk or kicker, haven't decided yet.

Lots of ppl use that amp but say it’s like playing the lottery. Either really great reviews or really bad ones. I love the price of these amps though. Very tempting.

There's a long thread about them somewhere here. General consensus is that they're pretty solid when they work. I had one, died in three months. They replaced it under warranty but I ended up switching to JL after that.

I installed a Rockville amp in my sons car and I'm pretty impressed. It's a 6 channel running the 4 door speakers and two channels bridged to run his sub. Not likely he'll be winning any competitions but can hear him coming for quite a distance. Uses it daily for almost a year with no issues. For the cost, well worth it and even if he had to replace in a few years, he could buy 3 or 4 of these for the price of JL. A solid budget amp from my perspective.

I’d say look at the boss audio armor amps for budget systems. Six year warranty and the utube reviews say they put out rated power.

I have rockville. Would not buy again.

Go with a micro amp from a more reputable company like Kenwood or Kicker. They’re not much more and you won’t be shoving yourself into the helm compartment on a hot July day swapping it out when it fails.
