At a loss here. Got a 2014 242 ls. 36 hours on engines, into our 2nd season...boats been great since purchased new. Today was out and right engine acted like something was in the impeller. Fiddled around could not find anything. .boated back home seemed ok but at 5k rpm..every few minutes the power would drop/fluctuate still had acceleration but just seems something is off..got it on fhe lift and did another impeller inspection seems ok. Any ideas here? Left engine is perfect..so dont think its bad fuel etc..im half a tank into a full tank from a good marina. Spark plugs are original and use stabilizer every other fill up. Thanks.

I'd start with inspecting and or changing the plugs.

Sounds like you ingested something. Is it possible to view the intake grate from beneath the boat? I would also try changing the spark plugs.

X3 on changing the spark plugs. Hopefully it's that simple, good luck.

4x. The loss of power sounds like when one of the cylinders misses. Likely a plug, but while you are in the neighborhood, inspect the boot and coil on top of the plug--make sure there are no cracks or anything in any of that. Not likely on a boat as new as yours, but while you are changing the plugs, give those a good once-over.
