The saddest day of a Canadian Jetboater's year...the day you take 'er in for the winter.

A busy summer with 3 months away on taskings (I'm in the Navy) meant I put barely 7 hours on the bateau this summer. Hopefully next year I kick through 50 hours of run-time on the boat. We'll see what the spring brings!

Here's two of my minions out for a final float with me:

A junior driver having her first real spin at driving the bateau:

And there we are....high and dry. The "Coffee Run" is now drying out, and over the next week I'll get her put to bed and winterized before she slides into the garage and goes to sleep for the winter.

Sigh.
