Hello everyone. New to the forum and 1st time poster. We have a 2016 Scarab 195 HO that we got out of storage today and went for our 1st cruise of the year. Boat ran fine but we started the ski locker filling up with water. Opened the engine compartment and saw water coming in through a drain hole right next to the bilge pump motor. Cruising, no water. Stop and the water comes in. Pulled the boat out and noticed on the back of the boat above and the the left of the lower drive there seems to be a flapper valve missing. Pics are attached if anyone else has and the same issue or can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

That isn't supposed to have a valve. It connects to the resonator box inside the boat. Check the clamps that lead to the resonator box. You probably have one loose. You didn't tighten them by any chance did you? It's possible to overtighten and crease/crack the plastic.

Thanks for the reply. I have not tightened them but I’ll look and see if the hose came off. Sorry for what may seem like a stupid question, so there is a hose on the inside of the engine compartment that connects to that valve?

Yes, see pic. But it is NOT a valve. It's lierally completely open. Water came come in and out freely by design.

Oh, and no stupid questions. We all started somewhere :)

Thank you so much. Checking it as soon as I get home.
