Hi guys! I bought scarab 2016 195 HO! I took it on the lake few times with no issues but last time i was on the lake the check engine came on. The boat runs fine, when i turn it off and back on the light goes away but as soon as i put it in F or R it comes back on. Did any of you guys had that issue?

Usually there's an active fault code when it gets activated. Often sweeps across the display initially. If not, go into the options and one of them will appear which is your code. Hard to diagnose without that.

I tried but i can’t find any codes.

There are some scenarios where the code can't be seen. In that case, the only way to find out is to plug it into software. Dealer software or Candoo Pro.

I had such a code once, in my particular case it was a fuel sender error. Specifically a "short circuit" because I had played with it so much. Also ran perfectly. I just had to clear it. But I needed software to do that. Never came back. Hopefully it's a minor error.. but sounds like you'll need access to software to check and clear it.

Thank you for your help. I will do that!
