Yes you will only get around 7000 rpms during break in . The good news is once you get past the break in it gets better ! I just hit 43 mph at 8100 rpms 2 days ago with 6 hrs on the clock , I've read that it's not uncommon to get full rpms around 7 hrs !
Before the full rpm range I was a little disappointed , but hang in there . It's gets much better !

Has anyone experienced any situations where the boat isn't tracking straight? I constantly have to correct my course as the back of the boat seems to be skipping
around on the water at higher speeds.
Yes. @ScarabMike had the same problem and we were talking about it over the weekend. I have brought him into the conversation using the @, but I will let him give you the 411.
