ScarabOpen 12/16/2016

I noticed this lastnight and it has really peaked my curiosity. I have a feeling it's that center console boat they released over a month ago. wouldn't surprise me that Scarab is having a release date on a boat you can already see on boat trader. still hoping it's something else.

I saw this at the boat show in Ft lauderdale. Its a cool concept, but if I'm not mistaken, Yamaha's are almost 10k cheaper.

In response to @Elio195HOI, I like my Scarab, but I'm starting to think Yamaha is an easier boat to own in more ways than one. Price point, availability, more and better qualified service facilities, and with Yamaha motors, an all encompassing warranty. I hope my Scarab holds up well. With under a hundred hours I'm weeding out the little annoyance items myself. Aside from my difficulties with admin items and lack of service support, I love my boat. I will be watching for improvements in their "after the sale" support and service and that will weigh heavily on my next boat purchase.

The tailgate is legit! Way to keep innovating within small spaces. Don't really get the rest of it but looks interesting.

Looks pretty cool

Needs a rear facing seat. For the water sports, the girl next to the driver is sitting forward, turning around to watch the boarder. Some kind of reversible, flip back seat next to the driver.

Looks like a fun boat... If you can keep it running.
