looking at puttin seadek my 2018 sx195 Do i need to remove all the carpet snaps and fill the whole prior to install? if so what do i fill whole with and how?
Yes on snap removal. Unfortunately the SeaDek set does not cover all of the holes. The FRP deck has no wooden core (so no worries about rot!), but I would still seal the holes to prevent potential de-lamination issues, and for esthetics.looking at puttin seadek my 2018 sx195 Do i need to remove all the carpet snaps and fill the whole prior to install? if so what do i fill whole with and how?
It doesn't get too hot? I am seriously considering this upgrade but a lot of people say the seadek gets hotter than hell out in the sun all day. You'll love the SeaDek. I'm on my 3rd season with it. Still my favorite mod.
Nope...in 90f sun last summer our grey mats barely get warm. The brown might be a bit warmer, but doubt they would get hot at all. I'll never have a boat without seadek or similar mats again. It doesn't get too hot?
