Does anybody has a service manual for a 2016 Yamaha 242 Limited S that they don't need or want to share? The Yamaha price for them is ridiculous.

Thanks,

@GoodCubanito .....can you not just "google" it and print it?
Actually you cannot. Yamaha has the owners manual online, but they do not allow you to save it. As far as the service manual, I have not been able to find a digital version that can be downloaded and printed. I resorted to purchasing the 2016 242 Limited S manual online and it was shipped to me.

I also just got one from the site @GoodCubanito mentions - looks complete but based on binding most likely boot legged.
It seems Yamaha is sending out E series manuals so at least this boot legged manual is the correct one for non e series 2016 242 Ltd s

I will have to agree. I just looked up my manual from yamaha, which is the LIT-18616-03-56 and my cover page of the manual looks different than the ones being sold at the recommended site. It even looks like they have two different manuals for the same boats. Attached is a picture of my manual.

If the content is the same, then at $30 is worth it, but at this point, I am sceptical about it.

Whoops, that first one was for the 21' boats.

Here's the manual for the 24' series:

I ended up buying it... best investment I made... lots of information on it... paid $30.00 for it.

anyone had luck downloading the .pdf from the wayback machine? I can read it online, but cannot download. I just can't figure it out and it's probably something stupid easy.
Yamaha made sure to cover this. If you want the manual you have to purchase it. That’s what I ended up doing as well.

I was just hoping to get something that I can have on my i-pad instead of a paper copy. I just don't want to pay $80 per year for that priviledge when the same info is only 30 in paper form.

Thanks to the link from @Quad you can go into the Wayback Machine site and get all the pages from the 242 E Series Service Manual LIT-18616-03-67:

Index of /ebook/LIT-18616-03-67/files/mobile

You can download each of the 453 pages in high resolution. I suggest then assemble them into a color searchable pdf with something like PaperPort.

I also prefer to have all of the manuals with me in my phone!
