Or maybe this thread should be called "Caution if your klutzy around your ski locker".

Last month I closed the ski locker door on my big toe and the edge of the door sliced right through my toenail and into my toe. I didn't think much of it given that the door is pretty heavy and you probably should move your foot before you close the ski locker on it, but this weekend my wife was getting the the skis out and lost her balance - falling into the ski locker (it was actually kind of funny but...), she ended up with a two inch slice on her shoulder from the rounded corner of the door. I'm taking the door off tonight and sanding/filing the edge, you may want to check yours too.

OUCH, that sounds painful. My son learned the hard way to keep toes out of the "guillotine" when a guest just slammed that door shut. Sounds like you got it worse though.

Lots of sharp edges. I got it washing inside the clean out tray from the lid. Constantly catch my foot on the channel for the bow block off.

Also use caution when taking out or putting in your bow filler cushions into the under seat storage. When we were checking out the AR240 at the dealer my son sliced the vinyl on the edge of the plastic.

Yea there are a ton of sharp, unfinished edges on these boats. One day in the off season I plan on buying some of that white rubber edging and going around all of my storage and ski locker areas. I cut my arms up first day when working on the boat in there.

Well, it is not just the edges though... try running any wires, you will be picking fiberglass shards off of your hands for days.

some 60 grit sand paper takes those sharp edges off. With water logged skin that stuff slices into you like a razor

The worst is the fiberglass pieces that get jammed under your finger nail ...ouch . Work gloves are a necessity when puling wires
