Just took my Yamaha 2017 242S Jet Boat out this past weekend for the first time this summer. There was a slight vibration/rumble that I could hear distinctly - more evident when in neutral but still was there when I accelerated. The Boat still accelerated to top speed and there were no performance issues. I have never heard this before. Anyone run into this? Just want to be sure I catch it before it turns into something serious?

It could be slight cavitation caused by a tiny bit of debris stuck in the impeller or the impeller intake. You may also have some missing caulking in the impeller intake grate. To check these items you can inspect from the rear of the boat and underneath looking up into the intake. It could also be a fouled spark plug. Have you determined which engine it's coming from? Do you get it while running on the hose while on the trailer? You could also have an impeller contacting a wear ring. Some more info as to which engine and under what circumstances would help us to help you nail it down.

I’m going to piggy back on this topic.
I have a very small vibration too. It only occurs when I turn to the right while up on plane.
Any ideas on what it could be?

I’ve always had this symptom until I kick the the throttle up a bit from neutral. I thought it was normal because my little funjet from long ago always vibrated at idle.

I have it to. Happens at low speed just above no wake speed. Figured it was my buckets, but wasn’t a big enough headache that I wanted to adjust them and risk screwing up something else.
