I have a 2004 Yamaha SX230 for sale for $10,000 OBO. Will also consider trades for Jet Skis, Pontoons, Polaris Rzr, Yamaha WR250 or XT250, Honda Grom or Monkey. Cash on top of the trade depending on value. Boat overall condition is good for its age. Some dings and some stained seats, but for a 2004, fairly good condition.
On the last trip of the season last year, the Port motor got louder all of a sudden and we killed motor immediately and clamped hose and limped back to dock on one engine. I have attached a video link of the only time the motor was started since. Started it for a few seconds and hear a rattle sound. Not sure where it is coming from but a compression test shows
Cylinder 1 210 compression
Cylinder 2 160 compression
Cylinder 3 190 compression
Cylinder 4 90 compression
I do not have the technical skills to look into this any further and the 2 Yamaha dealers in TN have a 2 month wait. Upgrading to a new one and considering all reasonable offers. Could definitely be a great fixer upper with someone that has knowledge on engines or wanting to just swap in a SBT.

Last year added
Dual Battery Setup with Battery Isolator
Dual Bilge Pump with alarm activated if second pump kicks on
Full Oil change from bottom drain bolt
All oil replaced with Mobil 1 Synthetic and new Washable oil filters installed
Trailer in good condition. Almost new tires.

Replaced starboard reverse gate cable as old one was sticking
Dual 12v outlets in glovebox
Large Watersports mirror
Good condition Bimini
Depth Finder with GPS Speedometer
Stainless Scupper Valve
Replacement metal drain plug but no installed yet
Rebuilt Clean out Ports and installed locks so no blowouts

Reinforced tow hook with aluminum flat bar on inside
