SOLD!! SOLD!! SOLD!!!
I absolutely LOVE this boat and am ready to update to the new 2017's. With the current offers Yamaha is putting out it's very hard not to upgrade.
I bought this boat new in 2010 from Hammertime Sports in Rockford,IL. took delivery Memorial Day Weekend 2010. We are on our 7th summer with it and our family absolutely loves this boat. 110 hours on each motor, NEVER an issue, ever. This has been this most reliable boat I've ever owned.
I meticulously maintained this and all of my toys (I'll let the pics speak for themselves). Detailed after every trip, washed, rinsed, and 'hot sauced'. All plastic, vinyl and seats are 303'd at least 3x per year to protect from fading and cracking. Carpet gets washed at least 3x per season. Engine compartment is lubed and spray protected. Plugs changed last season, new set on hand ready to go when needed. No major cosmetic scratches or gouges. The hull is immaculate, the hull has only seen water and trailer bunks, has keel guard too. Each season all latches, cables and switches get lubricated. No stains in the carpet, no tears, rips or stains on the seats. Bimini top with cover, no rips tears or stains. I did remove the "rumble" seats since we never used them and they just got in the way, they also are included. Bow cushions are also included. cockpit and stern table and arms included as well.
Impellers look brand new, no chips, gouges etc. I've never sucked up anything other than water and weeds. (can send pics of the impellers and clean outs by request). Includes Cobra jet fins.
Tandem Trailer with spare tire and surge brakes includes new tires and a new winch strap, I also welded additional support brackets at the base of the trailer bow stop (stock from MFI was garbage). Boat Buckle stern trailer straps. Brand new trailer bunks this season (treated wood, matching tan carpet and stainless steel lag bolts). LED trailer lights all in working order. polished aluminum wheels with diamond plated steps. 2nd season on the black seasonal Yamaha cover.
I store the boat covered indoors when not on the water. Off season all seats and carpet come out, get cleaned and get stored in my house. Boat is stored indoors, covered with seasonal cover and thick winter cover along with 3 tubs of eva-dry inside. Winter maintenance is performed every year by Nielsen Enterprises (powersports dealer and Yamaha Jet Boat dealer). They change pump oil, winterize and lube etc.
The bad: There is a surface rub on the port side from a neighboring boat's waketower (easy repair just haven't done it), they are not deep at all, when they are wet they disappear.
This is the cleanest 2010 242 Limited you will find. Every weekend I am asked if it's a new boat and they are shocked when I tell them it's a 2010. I am asking $35,000 OBO, contact me with any questions you may have. Accessories that come with the boat are the stock items (tool kit, manual etc.) a cooler and 3 Yamaha bumpers.
