I apologize in advance but I wasn't able to find this on here. I have a '21 252S and I need to replace the speakers one on the swim platform is blown. I am not looking to break the bank and was looking at the JL M3's but my buddy said to get the M6's. Everything on the boat is OEM. If I upgrade to the 6''s do i need to replace the amp and sub? Any info anyone can provide would be awesome, thanks!

I don't know what the stock amp is for your boat. The difference is the amp range. If the amp you have is around 100 W per channel, then you can utilize it for either them M3 or the M6. The sound output would be the same as you currently have. The difference in the speaker would be quality of sound (better engineering in the M6). As far as the subwoofer goes. Unless you want to change it you don't have to. Changing the speakers to the M6 series would provide the ability to upgrade the system later and in stages without causing a large investment all at once.
