I have a 2017 - 242X with about 56 hours. It was serviced at 25 hrs.

This weekend the Touch screen stopped working. Went home to flushed the engines (water was flowing out the side port). After about 2 minutes alarm when on and "Stbd Engine Check". Shut engine down, left it off for about an hour. Stdb Engine Check alarm goes on every-time boat has power.

After the consulting the forums it was suggested to reset disconnect the batteries over night. I have done this and will check status when I return home tonight. Engine makes the following sound when it has power not certain what it made before (sounds like a mosquito) https://photos.app.goo.gl/pKQOcifig9zra8wE3

Any trouble shooting tips?

Thanks,
Peter

Peter,

It always make that noise. You usually don't hear it because the motors are running.

Thanks I thought that might have been the case but wasn't sure.

UPDATE: Ok went home at lunch, reconnected the battery, started the engine twice on the second start warning went away. Trouble code seems to have cleared itself which is good however the Connect touch screen still not working. Anyone run into this before or have suggestions?

Further search of the forums: Hold down the sys control button for 3 seconds. Then the touchscreen button. In there will be a calibrate button. (I will try this tonight)
