Sucked up a wood chip in Starboard impeller, removed it, but Stbd Engine Warning Check light and buzzer remained on for several more days despite the lack of any symptoms or a diagnosis code. Just before I was going to bring it in to the dealer the warning light and intermittent buzzer finally disappeared. During the interim, oil levels, cleanout ports, intake grates, and cooling lines were normal and free of obstructions. Boat has run flawlessly. Really strange.

@jwhedberg not sure the new boats have this issue, but for my 2013 some members have recommended disconnecting the battery after the overheat warning. I guess this resets and takes the error code out of memory.

Thanks, i did try turning off both battery kill switches off (house & start), but i did not try disconnecting the actual battery cables. If it ever happens again i will try that.
