The last couple of weekends I went out with the boat I would run it everything‘s fine I would load it up on the trailer bring it home and then there will be kind of like a grease or possible oil that kind of leak in the rear of the starboard motor. I’ve checked everything air filter, plugs and oil level, cold and hot. No oil is missing. It does have kind of a thicker grease feel to it. I took it out this weekend brought it home and it didn’t leak this time. I am really confused. Has anybody ever ran into this or What it could possibly be , it is dripping back at the rear of the starboard motor but this last weekend it did not do it no leak or drips. Thank you

Do you have pics by chance? Is it possible that it is grease coming from the main bearing and dripping down?

What do think it is I am hoping it is the bearing it seems thicker than oil.

Not sure. Maybe use your phone or a mirror to look under the engine. And on the sides looking for the spot it's leaking. Hopefully you can see where it's dripping from. Hard to tell from the pic but doesn't really look like grease. More like watered down oil. But I don't think it would feel thick if it was. Wish I could be more help. You might post this in the General forum to get more exposure.

Looks like newish engine oil. Change oil recently, could be residal from not hitting you mark when filling. Oil.filter in good shape and not leaking around base. I would wipe everything clean the start the motor. Get in there with a bright flasligh.and mirror and see what you can see.

Here are some more photos and it is weird to that weekend it started I wiped it and I ran it and nothing last weekend then I ran it this weekend and these are the photos from Saturday

Is it possible that bolt is a hair loose and leaking from there? You might look up the torque specs and snug them down.
