What is everyone going with. A sub enclosure under the seat or mounted to fiberglass under a seat?

I have 10" enclosed sub (Wet Sounds HT AS 10). Trying to figure out this venting of the area its in. I have it under the starboard middle seat next to the cooler. It sounds good but people are saying Venting the area would make it sound better.
