Sucked up another one! had to cut this one out it was in there so tight.

Tough break. There is a silver lining, at least you were able to get it out. Years ago my buddy sucked up my anchor line on his Waverunner. We had to flip it over and cut it out in the water with a kitchen knife. Then we had to hang it off the sea wall at a 45 degree angle to get all of the water out. It probably took close to an hour. He was less than a foot from having his hull perforated by the anchor.

We did it a few times but not in the last 5-6 years. You won't do it if you are diligent. Treat the rope like a person in the water.

We ran over the rope once last year, and never again (hopefully).

I immediately invested in the brightest neon rope I could and my spotter is in charge of knowing where the rope is. I always tell them they are the one to keep an eye on it.
