I am a new member and just getting the hang of this stuff. As the title states, I don't know how the support poles are installed because they were wrapped up in the sole locker when I bought the vessel. I do know not to tow with them and did that from picking up the vessel 700 miles away. It trailer excellent with the top secured down with the side straps and the tie downs at the rear. I guess the question is: Do I need to install every time I store the vessel? I dry stack under cover. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I don't have good pics, but maybe this will be of some help - the pole with white straps is usually the front, black is back. You can see the straps under the cover and they tie up - loops around the cleats:
Here you go (the pics are crappy, but I think you can see what I'm talking about):

Close the windshield center panel and run the long strap (connecting the two poles) on top.

The poles are to keep water from pooling on the cover, the water will run off with the poles installed. If you keep it indoors or under cover it would not be necessary to install the "anti-pooling" poles.

Just got a call from Scott Gordon from cover manufacture. He stated that the poles are for two different tops. the first set, (YJBC141a, labeled on the bottom of the pole set) is for the original white shipping cover and are non adjustable, while the adjustable set with number YJBC143a is for the black optional cover. Scott told me to just trash or put away the original shipping poles. Y'all where right with the write up and youtube video's. Thanks for the help. Looking forward to being a part of the group.

If you have kids - those make for excellent blanket tents!
