Hey folks,
I wanted to share some pics and a positive review of the surf carry pocket F4A-U27A0-V0-00.
This thing is super easy to install and does a nice job of keeping boards out of the boat. It’s not for use on the road, it’s for on the water only. So, it’s great if you live at the lake, or visit for weeks at a time. I don’t think it wouldn’t be worth the trouble for a one day outing.
Also, this might not be for you if you have physical limitations that prevent you from standing on the side of the boat and putting boards on/off the top. It can be a little tricky at times.
I like it because it gives me the ability to have boards and the tube or Lilly pad on the boat at the same time. Before I got this, the kids had to choose what they wanted to do for the day, now we can change mid day while on the water. I haven’t tried putting the tube up there yet, so can’t comment on that. I think it would work ok for smaller 1 or 2 person tubes, but you could probably just strap those on without having this installed.
