Hey all, tried to search the forum and couldnt find anything. Has anyone surfed behind a 255fsh and if so what was the ballast setup? Fatsac said the stock yamaha swim platform bags are not designed for this boat and floor space is at a premium.

I think the 400lb bags would fit between the gunnel rod holders and the captains chair but it would be really tight or possibly sticking a bag on the swim platform(but not blocking the tow attachment point) but not sure how much weight i would need to really make a difference. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You have a 30 gallon stern live well which holds 250 pounds of water.
The Portside live well holds 18 gallons for 150 pounds.
For a total of 400 pounds.
No modifications needed.

You were able to drop the rope just filling the livewells? That hasnt been our experience but well give it another go over the weekend

Contact @jcyamaharider with your measurement of your step on your swim deck. He is the designer of the transom bags for fatsac so he can tell you which one to purchase.
