Hey All, As some of you know I have complained a couple times about the terrible lateral movement on my AR240 tower. I have had it to the dealer several times for the gaskets that keep cracking and moving around where the tower meets the hull. I am getting pretty close to pulling the trigger on swapping the tower out for a black Cuda tower. My question is has anyone done this, remove the factory tower, fill the holes and put a new tower on? It will mean a lot of money and a new bimini but I think it will be worth it, plus the Cuda tower looks pretty cool. Thoughts?

I seem to recall a couple of folks on the other board replacing the tower with a collapsible one. Filling the holes shouldn't be a big deal at all with a filler and gel coat patch kit. If I remember correctly, they guy who replaced had to build up the new mounting area with fiberglass on the backside and/or install a mounting plate.
