Does everyone's SX "normal" bimini top move A LOT and shake the hell out of the windscreen when in rough or windy conditions?

I hate looking over at the windscreen where the bimini attaches and seeing it shake and move the wind screen so much. No damage so far but......

My cousin lowers his bimini top while under way in his 25' Mako for the same reason. It's not attached to a windscreen but it buffets and rattles so bad he's afraid it's going to tear itself up. He has the igloo bimini up front too. Not a cheap setup. Yours looks like a pretty windy day.

Mine does in strong winds . It doesn't do it right where u r pointing... it does it at the back where u have the removable pins when u put it up. The wind cones off the wind screen and hits the very back of the bikini causing the back to shake like hell... the pole with the removable pins sounds like they Re shaking at 500 times a min..

Mine moves around ALOT. I boat in what appears to be very similar coastal choppy conditions like in your pic, and it worries me, but so far no failures. I can see the windscreen flexing at that point. As a rule I don't take the bimini over about 40 mph net, so if you have a 15 mph headwind, I'd keep it under 25 mph. I was contemplating some sort of corner brace as I was watching it flex earlier today. Maybe I need to get serious about it.
