Pardon my ignorance but need to know if the tachometers read RPMs while boat is on trailer/out of water. I'm getting my boat ready for this summer and noticed that my tachometers are not reading the engine RPMs when i turn engines on, on my trailer at home. Not sure if this is correct or if there's something wrong with my tachometers or coms link between them and ECM. Any insight is appreciated.
