Testing 2004 Yamaha SX230 alarm horn with mr1 engines

Good afternoon,! I have a 2004 Yamaha SX230 jet boat with the Yamaha mr1 engines. The other day I was diagnosing an issue and ran the boat without water and the overheat symbol on the gauge turned on but I didn’t hear an alarm? How do I test to make sure there is an audible alarm and it’s working? I looked under the dash and did not see a horn for the alarm?
