Obviously I have a sour taste in my mouth in regards to my boat and the service Im getting from both Yamaha direct and also from the dealership I purchased from, but theres a silver lining albeit ever so simple and small.

My wake board racks are PTM Edge. Very well built no complaints. Unfortunately someone on my boat one outting made the bungies too tight holding the boards on ride back and they dug in very deep to the foam padding literally having the boards just about contacting the aluminum. The foam was compromised now and wouldnt rebound.

I figured Ill just order new foam. Emailed PTM and Jason there set me up with what i needed. NO CHARGE, even 3 day shipped them. Now thats service. Granted its only foam, and im sure pennies on the dollar...but its the fact they know i have their product and they want me to be completely satisfied with it.

Wow.

My last interaction with a marina was to buy a battery.

The guys would not touch or lift the battery. They did however ask each other if they were high, then asked each other if they were ok while stumbling around. Of course I was overcharged, and the receipt looked like a check from a 1980s diner. I waited 20 min to even be awknoledged and for this exquisite experience to even begin.

The icing on the cake was when one of the employees intentionally walked directly in back of the truck as we were attempting to leave trying to get hit and do a shakedown and or file a claim. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
