Last year I replaced the stock speakers with two pairs of JL MX770 powered by a MX 500/4 amp. Which was a big improvement. I'm thinking of adding another pair by the driver/passenger seats, and maybe a sub. I would like to add a set on the swim deck if I can find ones that fit, not much room on the Seadoo 210.

For you experienced boat audio guys, should I add another amp, a MX600/3 to power the mid cockpit and sub, or am I better off replacing the M500/4 with say a M800/8. Current power was run with the JL kit, it's only 6 gauge wire, so that may need to change with either option.

Thanks
