Thrust Vectors on the 165

I don't know the answer. There is very little reason to put those on Scarabs. Hence why you're finding little info on this. Some have tried it (at least on bigger boats).

My opinion is that they act as a temporary crutch. But once you learn how to drive your boat, they are unnecessary. I've seen multiple people install them and then remove them later on. Others swear by it.

Your mileage may vary.
