I am attempting to replace my trailer hubs and have measured all required measurements that were listed on the website. But when I received the hubs Everything fits just right except the spindle nut. The spindle is 3/4” but the nut with the new hub is 1”. Can I just use my old castle nut?

While not recommended, I have done just that on a couple previously owned Honda Accords that I did axle replaces on. I never had any problems with either car axles afterwards. YMMV
