I recall seeing a engine starting (or should I stay "not starting") engine flowchart posted. I tried searching for it but came up empty. After a brief scare while on the water yesterday, I was thinking it would be a good idea to have a copy of it on the boat. Anyone recall what I am talking about?

1. Make sure throttle is on Neutral.
2. Make sure port plugs are properly installed AND the port plug lid is closed correctly....SOMETIMES even when it is closed correctly it may not disable the "no start" safety feature because it doesn't press down hard enough on the sensors. So you need to tape a penny or two where that lid would normally push down so it presses these safety sensors down a little more.
3. make sure battery is ON

Im sure there may be more but I think these are your basic 3

Thanks for the replys and those help but I was referencing a list that was an actual flowchart that had the equivalent of "if-then" statements.

I remember seeing that chart at the other site.
