I just purchased my 2003 SR230 and I wanted to know what the standard running rpms should be for these engines? What would be the max rpm for these engines? Thx

Thank you. I was wondering because running about 35-40 mph my rpms were about 7-8 thousand rpms. I thought that was about normal. Thx
