Question wanting to upgrade radio on 2005 SX230, currently it has the older model radio (longer) thinking of putting in a more new round one but want to use the current hole and looking for ideas on how to do that. Thanks.
I've had it for a few years and it has worked well so far.
In terms of how to do it, I cut the harness between the old radio and the boat, and then used crimp connectors to hook up the old harness to the new radio, then reconnected the whole thing to the boat.
