Upgrades to 2020 Ar190

Hi. Just want to share with my upgrade done to 2020 AR190. Installed Simrad GO5 with Airmar P79 In-Hull transducer, Kicker Stereo and Kicker 6.5 Inch speakers. Super easy. Great weekend project. Tested on the water last weekend - very happy with the upgrade.

I just upgraded to Kicker speakers. Which Kicker head unit is that and was it a direct replacement?

Kicker KMC-5. Fit perfect in the hole after Jensen unit, but all wires needs to be adjusted to fit Kicker connector.

I just bought an Infinity PRV415 to replace the POS Jenson unit. Everything is plug and play BUT the hole cutout for the Jenson was about 3" and the Infinity unit requires a slightly bigger hole - about 3.6". Do you know the size of the KMC-5? You didn't have to make OEM any bigger?

Kicker went right in. No need to enlarge holes after Jensen removal.

So strange. The hole for my Jenson was but almost exactly the size for it but the Infinity unit is like 0.5" larger. I ended up having to use my dremel to make the hole bigger to make it fit.

Which kicker speakers did you go with and did you add an amp? I'm looking to get louder than the motor, but not rocking the world.

Hello GO5 looks great! I want to do the same to my AR 190. I have been looking for this Simrad do you have the exact part number and where you purchased and aprox cost. Sort of confusing looking on Simrad web. Does it come with flush mount template? Thanks
