Using a 242 Mooring Cover on a 252SD

I can't find a 252SD cover anywhere and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. So, there's about 6" of difference in length between the 242 and 252; beam is the same.

I can find stock on the 242 mooring cover - do you think the 242 cover will fit the 252?

Probably not, unfortunately.

I had a cover for my AR240 and it was pretty snug (aft to stern). I can't imagine that they gave a lot more leeway on the 242 covers. I suspect if you use it the aft part will not go over the end of the swim deck. That will mean you can't cinch up the cover around the circumference...
 
These covers are a pretty exact fit. I wouldn't expect it to fit well if at all.
