You have to get the boat to list to get a desirable wake. That said, I can go ropeless on my 21' with only the factory ballasts full, which doesn't list the boat at all. It is just easier if more weight is on one side than the other.

What's everyone's thoughts about more center weight vs. surf-side weight on a 21' boat? I've got 750 in the ski locker right now and 750 on the surf side. Problem is, I'm the only goofy foot when we go out, everyone else is regular. So we get to swap the bags a lot. I'm wondering if that 750 transom was centered and just the wakebooster was moved if it would allow for easier rider changing?
Which 750lb ballast bag is that?
I have a 370lbs and it fills the ski locker to around 70-80% I would say. Wonder how you would get 750 in there.
I've seen, the ski locker on the bigger boats is quite a bit bigger.

Fly High Pro X Series Fat Sac (750 lbs) is the one that was recommended to me.

Hi All. Just wanted to let you know I got ropeless last night. Took a bunch of buddies out and everyone (including the 54 yr old guy) got up and two of us were able to go ropeless. Had a blast as this was my first time getting up behind the boat (basically been pulling kids around so far).
