Hello all I’ve glanced through here and I cannot find what I’m looking for! I have an 09 AR230 and am getting it water ready for this year and when I put my water hose to the interior quick connects I am not seeing water coming out of the pee holes, I was pretty sure it has in the past, the water is coming out from the jets! Am I in trouble here or is the lines stopped up further than I can stick my wires to clean them out??

Hi! :Welcome: to the forum!!! I assume the boats running when you flushing (sorry - don't want to assume anything)? If yes, they could be clogged where they pee. Sometimes bugs make homes there when in storage.

Yes the boat is running and I’m just running through the flush points, I ran a welding wire approx 13” in and never felt anything! Last time it was within a few inches of the opening!

Search "flush valves" here. Can't see where you live but if you run in salt water you should consider...

Most people don't get any stream on the hose, maybe your hose pressure has changed??
I wouldn't worry About, your engine will go into limp mode if it's really not getting cooling water,
Test it on the water,
A good reason to have a yds and watch real time temps on hose

3CFCCA89-0442-4188-AD4C-BF01E5407C0A.jpegIs this a water pump of sorts! There is not water coming out of this as it is hooked to the engine and the discharge ports on the out side of the boat! It is dang hot!!!! But as I said earlier it does come out of the bottom set! As stated by someone on here just a second ago I may not have enough hose pressure but I don’t wanna be the guy on the ramp not ready to launch and leave!

You need to watch buckbuck's video in the faq " how the cooling water flows"

This video is extremely informative! I will have to wait and see what it does in the lake tomorrow! I am sure I don’t have the hose volume to make it happen !

It does look like a thermostat housing. Open it and pull the thermostat, then see if you get a water flow "on the hose".

What's with the cut hose off to the side? Tell your story to reduce guessing.

The cut hose is the hose that leads to one of the discharges, I took it off the clean it from the inside out and after inspection it had a bad bend in it so I removed the kinked line repaired it! I’m going to drop it in the lake in the morning and see what it does!

Hey all the hose was not enough at all! Boat ran like a top today no issues at all! Other than soooo many people out there! Thanks all!!!
