My Pela 2000 extraction pump that is. I keep it on the boat - it makes oil changes a snap. But I've learned that keeping it on the boat probably wasn't such a good idea. The heat has stiffened the plastic hose and it's all cracked now...won't stay on the pump. The pump itself appears to be in good shape...it still creates suction, I just need a hose.

In my haste to get home I forgot to bring it with me and now I'm at a loss to remember the size of the hose/tube that I need.

Anybody got this model handy?

I'm here for ya' brother... what size are you needing though?17330229912_5a58cbe509_k.jpg

@waterboy , SA WEET! yep that's it...I need the size of the one that is now amber....the one that connects to the pump.

Thanks!

amber hose is 3/8" OD and appears to be 1/4" ID. Just for reference, the RED fitting where it connects to the ball is about 1 3/8" to 1 7/16". Good luck!!!

Let me know if you need any other numbers.

Don't stroke out on me man, help is just outside in the garage !!! Yeah, you ain't kidding, lot's of good help out there. You are quite welcome :winkingthumbsup"

I sent an email to Pela...they replied instantly....nice. :D

Replacement hose with fittings is $10.99. But the shipping is almost as much as the part. I could pick it up if I lived in Mass.

I think I'll give my local hardware store a shot first since my fittings are in good shape.

And thanks again for the info....
