2009 low hour Yam sx230. Noticed this rubber material sticking through the grommet (right next to jet discharge) after running her yesterday. Looks sorta like a gasket, but a little too soft. Seems circular. Same stuff sticking out of the other side as well.

That's just extra sealant. Yamaha uses a ton. No need to worry. And you're not alone. I just pulled some out of mine too.
